11:4. വിശ്വാസത്താൽ ഹാബേൽ ദൈവത്തിന്നു കയീന്റേതിലും ഉത്തമമായ യാഗം കഴിച്ചു; അതിനാൽ അവന്നു നീതിമാൻ എന്ന സാക്ഷ്യം ലഭിച്ചു; ദൈവം അവന്റെ വഴിപാടിന്നു സാക്ഷ്യം കല്പിച്ചു. മരിച്ചശേഷവും അവൻ വിശ്വാസത്താൽ സംസാരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

11:4. By faith Abel offered God a greater sacrifice than Cain, and through his faith he was commended as righteous, because God commended him for his offerings. And through his faith he still speaks, though he is dead.

11:4. It was by faith that Abel brought a more acceptable offering to God than Cain did. Abel's offering gave evidence that he was a righteous man, and God showed his approval of his gifts. Although Abel is long dead, he still speaks to us by his example of faith.
