10:37. അവർ അതിനെ പിടിച്ചു വാളിന്റെ വായ്ത്തലയാൽ അതിനെയും അതിലെ രാജാവിനെയും അതിന്റെ എല്ലാപട്ടണങ്ങളെയും അതിലുള്ള എല്ലാവരെയും സംഹരിച്ചു; അവൻ എഗ്ളോനോടു ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അതിനെയും അതിലുള്ള സകലമനുഷ്യരെയും ആരും ശേഷിക്കാതവണ്ണം നിർമ്മൂലമാക്കി.

10:37. They captured it and put the sword to its king, all its surrounding cities, and all who lived in it; they left no survivors. As they had done at Eglon, they annihilated it and all who lived there.

10:37. They captured the town and killed everyone in it, including its king, leaving no survivors. They did the same thing to all of its surrounding villages. And just as he had done at Eglon, he completely destroyed the entire population.

10:37. and they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but he utterly destroyed it, and all the souls that were therein.

10:37. They captured the city and all the little towns near Hebron. The Israelites killed everyone in the city, just as they did to Eglon. No one was left alive there. They destroyed the city and killed all the people in it as an offering to the Lord.
