1:11. അവർക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! അവർ കയീന്റെ വഴിയിൽ നടക്കയും കൂലി കൊതിച്ചു ബിലെയാമിന്റെ വഞ്ചനയിൽ തങ്ങളേത്തന്നേ ഏല്പിക്കയും കോരഹിന്റെ മത്സരത്തിൽ നശിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

1:11. Woe to them! For they have traveled down Cain's path, and because of greed have abandoned themselves to Balaam's error; hence, they will certainly perish in Korah's rebellion.

1:11. What sorrow awaits them! For they follow in the footsteps of Cain, who killed his brother. Like Balaam, they deceive people for money. And like Korah, they perish in their rebellion.
