2:9. ഞാൻ നിന്റെ കഷ്ടതയും ദാരിദ്ര്യവും — നീ ധനവാനാകുന്നു താനും — തങ്ങൾ യെഹൂദർ എന്നു പറയുന്നുവെങ്കിലും യെഹൂദരല്ല, സാത്താന്റെ പള്ളിക്കാരായവരുടെ ദൂഷണവും അറിയുന്നു.

2:9. 'I know the distress you are suffering and your poverty (but you are rich). I also know the slander against you by those who call themselves Jews and really are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

2:9. "I know about your suffering and your poverty-- but you are rich! I know the blasphemy of those opposing you. They say they are Jews, but they are not, because their synagogue belongs to Satan.

2:9. I know thy tribulation, and thy poverty (but thou art rich), and the blasphemy of them that say they are Jews, and they art not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
