19:16. അനന്തരം ഇതാ, ഒരു വൃദ്ധൻ വൈകുന്നേരം വേലകഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു വയലിൽനിന്നു വരുന്നു; അവൻ എഫ്രയീംമലനാട്ടുകാരനും ഗിബെയയിൽ വന്നു പാർക്കുന്നവനും ആയിരുന്നു; ആ ദേശക്കാരോ ബെന്യാമീന്യർ ആയിരുന്നു.

19:16. But then an old man passed by, returning at the end of the day from his work in the field. The man was from the Ephraimite hill country; he was living temporarily in Gibeah. (The residents of the town were Benjaminites.)

19:16. That evening an old man came home from his work in the fields. He was from the hill country of Ephraim, but he was living in Gibeah, where the people were from the tribe of Benjamin.

19:16. And, behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at even: now the man was of the hill-country of Ephraim, and he sojourned in Gibeah; but the men of the place were Benjamites.
