6:37. ഞാൻ രോമമുള്ള ഒരു ആട്ടിൻ തോൽ കളത്തിൽ നിവർത്തിടുന്നു; മഞ്ഞു തോലിന്മേൽ മാത്രം ഇരിക്കയും നിലമൊക്കെയും ഉണങ്ങിയിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ നീ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു പോലെ യിസ്രായേലിനെ എന്റെ കയ്യാൽ രക്ഷിക്കുമെന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

6:37. Look, I am putting a wool fleece on the threshing floor. If there is dew only on the fleece, and the ground around it is dry, then I will be sure that you will use me to deliver Israel, as you promised."

6:37. prove it to me in this way. I will put a wool fleece on the threshing floor tonight. If the fleece is wet with dew in the morning but the ground is dry, then I will know that you are going to help me rescue Israel as you promised."

6:37. behold, I will put a fleece of wool on the threshing-floor; if there be dew on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the ground, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by my hand, as thou hast spoken.
