9:3. അങ്ങനെ അവന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ ശെഖേമിലെ സകലപൌരന്മാരോടും ഈ വാക്കുകളൊക്കെയും അവന്നു വേണ്ടി സംസാരിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയം അബീമേലെക്കിങ്കൽ ചാഞ്ഞു: അവൻ നമ്മുടെ സഹോദരനല്ലോ എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.

9:3. His mother's relatives spoke on his behalf to all the leaders of Shechem and reported his proposal. The leaders were drawn to Abimelech; they said, "He is our close relative."

9:3. So Abimelech's uncles gave his message to all the citizens of Shechem on his behalf. And after listening to this proposal, the people of Shechem decided in favor of Abimelech because he was their relative.

9:3. And his mothers brethren spake of him in the ears of all the men of Shechem all these words: and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech; for they said, He is our brother.

9:3. And his mother's relatives spoke all these words on his behalf in the ears of all the leaders of Shechem, and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech, for they said, "He is our brother."

9:3. And his mother’s brethren spake of him in the ears of all the men of Shechem all these words: and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech; for they said, He [is] our brother.

9:3. And his mother's kinsmen spoke all these words on his behalf in the ears of all the men of Shechem; and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech, for they said, "He is our brother."

9:3. And his mother-s brethren spake of him in the ears of all the men of Shechem all these words: and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech; for they said, He is our brother.

9:3. And his mother`s brethren speak concerning him, in the ears of all the masters of Shechem, all these words, and their heart inclineth after Abimelech, for they said, `He [is] our brother;`

9:3. Abimelech's uncles spoke to the leaders of Shechem and asked them that question. The leaders of Shechem decided to follow Abimelech. They said, "After all, he is our brother."

9:3. His mother\'s brothers spoke of him in the ears of all the men of Shechem all these words: and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech; for they said, He is our brother.
